Hi! Dayn here. I am an accomplished producer, creative strategist, talent booker and project manager based in Los Angeles with 10 years of experience working for major brands both in Canada and the US.
Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for team leadership, as well as for creating engaging segments across a diverse range of subjects, I have a verifiable history of contributing directly to company growth and expansion throughout my career. I have built strong relationships with leading publicists, agents, record labels and movie studios, and have been working directly with high-profile talent since day 1 of my career.
Currently, I'm a talent booker for E! - North America's premiere entertainment news outlet. Specializing in booking talent from TV, music, technology and business, I bring in dozens of bookings to the brand each week further strengthening my long-standing relationships with the country's top agents, management firms and publicists.
My previous role introduced me to leaders across every major industry as Senior Producer and Talent Booker at Corus Entertainment, one of North America's largest media conglomerates with a portfolio of over 70 TV & radio properties offering original programming and exclusive rights to content produced by CBS, Nickelodeon, HGTV, Food Network and more. My day-to-day tasks include pitching, developing, writing, booking, producing, directing and project managing unscripted content focused primarily on entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, kids' and trending news. I regularly liaise with network executives to create a cohesive brand across multiple properties and drive audience engagement.
I was also a freelance Project Manager for Variety, one of the world's most trusted sources for entertainment news, film reviews, awards, film festivals, box office, and entertainment industry conferences. Notable events that I have been an integral part of at Variety include the Toronto International Film Festival, Hitmakers, TV Fest, Power of Women, the Gotham Awards and more.
I am extremely passionate about the entertainment industry and am proud to have amassed an abundance of experience while working on numerous large-scale productions, taking on various crucial roles and delivering profitable results.
